The location

Chalet Mignon is situated in the middle of a 10ha private property on the plateau of the 1000 lakes (La région des milles étangs). Located on a nature reserve approximately 600 - 800 meters above sea level at the foot of the Vosges mountains, it can be reached from Basel in just over 1.5 hours.

Nature and tranquillity rule here. The many lakes and the forest invite you to discover them on foot, by bike and on horseback. Life in the Vosges remains simple and rural, always friendly and benevolent. There is little tourism.

There are many thermal springs in the vicinity, including the hottest in Europe. A little further away, beautiful towns and cities such as Belfort, Montbéliard, Besançon, Gérardmer or Nancy invite you to visit them.
